Kearney Renaissance Fair at Sycamore Island

We will be presenting the pomp and spectacle of a 16th century battle complete with cannon and matchlock. King Henry will be presiding over a Border war. Participation by costumed actors from various Renaissance guilds will add to the feeling of authenticity. King Henry's court, English and Scots nobility, merchants, peasants and soldiers will be present to re-enact the events of the times. In addition to enjoying live stage performances and mock battles, the fairgoer will have a cornucopia of food, crafts, jewelry and period attire available for purchase
