Perth Medieval Fayre

As you approach the keep's iron gates, the armed guards check you for weapons and you pay your coin. The sound of courtly music greets your ears as you wander to the marketplace amidst fluttering banners. Artisans and merchants call out to entice you to survey their wares. It s Tournament Day! The ringing of steel on steel becomes louder as you make your way towards the Tourney Field. Knights, warriors and men-at-arms are arrayed before you, all competing for the Queen's Favour and the King's regard. A jester capers to the amusement of the children while colourful dancing girls attract the eye. All this and the day is just beginning!
