Middlefaire is currently set in a late English Renaissance village with a predominantly pirate and Old English atmosphere. Future villages will encompass Bavarian, French, and Celtic themes. A separate medieval village will begin construction in 2010.

Middlefaire is located on a farm site of mixed pasture and woods, five miles northwest of the Hillsboro Courthouse Square. The faire fronts State Highway 171. Site construction will be ongoing in the next decade.
