The World Map has markers for every active event in the Directorie for which we have an exact location (latitude and longitude). Nearly all events in the US are shown, but relatively few outside the US or Western Europe.

Because the map is dynamically generated from the database, it can take a while to load on a slow connection. It also requires that you have javascript enabled in your browser.

The map may be zoomed in or out using the control on the left. Double clicking on the map (not a marker) will recenter it. You may also click on and drag the map.

Clicking on any marker will add an information box with the name of that event and its location. Clicking on the name will open that event's page in a new window.
